Complete Results for USC Invite
LOS ANGELES-- Brent Eichenseer and Dwight Dumais finished 1-2 in the finals of the three-meter championship at the USC Diving Invite, after both finished second yesterday in separate events on Friday.
Eichenseer scored a best of 388.60 in the finals, after the second-best score in the prelims at 352.35. Duamais finished second with a score of 387.15 after the third-best prelim score of 338.90. Harrison Jones, who beat the duo yesterday in the platform and the one-meter, finished third with 380.90 points.
In the one-meter finals on the women's side, Mary Beth Corbett finished eighth with a score of 220.80, after a score of 224.15 in the prelims, also the eighth-best score of the 16 competitors.
It was a solid weekend for Stanford Diving, as Carmen Stellar won the three-meter competition against Florida and Michigan, both NCAA competitors from a year ago with strong diving programs.
