STANFORD, Calif. -

This week's live Stanford TV, radio and webcast schedule listed below.

Baseball
The starting pitching staff, which has struggled this season, may be starting to turn the corner. Jordan Pries, the team's only consistent starter, has a 1.93 ERA over his past four starts (7 ER, 32.0 IP), while LHP Brett Mooneyham pitched eight-plus innings on Saturday in the team's only win, giving up a single run while striking out seven, and has a 3.50 ERA (7 ER in 18 IP) over his past four appearances. Pries left with a 6-1 lead in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, before the bullpen gave up eight runs in Oregon's 9-6 victory.

Women's Basketball
Stanford finished the season with a national runner-up finish, the school's second in the past three years. The team also set a program records with 36 victories and a 27-game winning streak, from Dec. 30, 2009 to April 4, 2010.

Women's Golf
Some notable performances came from Stanford's 10th-place finish at the PING/ASU Invitational last weekend in Tempe: The Cardinal's score of 876 (+12) was the team's best 54-hole score of the season, and the team's even par 288 in the third round also was a season best. Freshman Sally Watson collected her fourth top-10 finish of the year with an eighth place showing. Her final score of 212 (-4) was the lowest 54-hole score by a Stanford player this season, while her three-under 69 in the third round was also a season-best. Kristina Wong matched her season-best with a one-under score of 71 in the final round.

Women's Gymnastics
Shelley Alexander, a junior captain, earned her first collegiate championships by winning the vault (9.95) and the balance beam (9.90) at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Morgantown, W.Va., on Saturday. Alexander had won several times this season, but had never earned two victories in the same meet during her collegiate career, and had never won a conference or regional title.

Sailing
Stanford secured a berth into the national team championships in May following a victory at the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference team championships. Fighting through driving rain, and wind which blew up to 20 knots and from four different directions, the Cardinal defeated Hawaii for the automatic berth. Stanford finished 16-1 in the event, while Hawaii was 12-5. USC (11 wins) and UC Santa Barbara (9) rounded out the top four at the regatta.

Softball
Senior Alissa Haber and freshman Teagan Gerhart were selected among the 25 finalists for USA Softball's Collegiate Player of the Year award. The players are among eight nominees from the Pac-10 Conference, while Stanford was one of five teams to have two players named to the list.

Synchronized Swimming
The Stanford synchro team will be traveling to Huntersville, N.C., for its final competition of the season, the U.S. Synchro National Championships, against schools and clubs from all over the country. The team is coming off a second-place finish at the U.S. Collegiate Nationals, while looking to improve on last season's fourth-place mark.

Men's Tennis
Richard Wire and Paul Morrissey were honored with career tributes before and after Saturday's 7-0 Senior Day victory over Oregon. Getting the start at the No. 3 spot, Wire posted a 6-3, 6-2 victory, while Morrissey served as the team's honorary volunteer assistant coach for the afternoon.

Women's Tennis
Stanford left Pullman, Wash., with a 5-2 win over Washington State on Thursday despite a pair of uncharacteristic losses from top singles players Hilary Barte (No. 1) and Lindsay Burdette (No. 2). In fact, it marked the first time both players suffered a loss in the same dual match since Feb. 20, 2008, when Barte and Burdette were each defeated in a 6-1 loss at California.

Men's Volleyball
Stanford closed within one victory of its first conference title since 1997, after beating No. 6 USC in a Saturday home sweep. The Cardinal will have two shots - at UCLA on Friday and UC Irvine on Saturday - to secure at least a share of the title. But of greater importance is the No. 1 seed for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament, which determines the conference's only automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. First-place Stanford remains on course, but the race for that spot is guaranteed to come down to the final day of the regular season, on Saturday. Stanford must keep an eye on Provo, Utah, where Cal State Northridge plays BYU in a two-match series, beginning Friday. CSUN and BYU are a game behind Stanford, but hold tiebreaker advantages over the Cardinal. Stanford can split its matches and earn the top seed only if CSUN and BYU split theirs. If not, Stanford must win out.

Women's Water Polo
No. 2 Stanford stayed perfect in MPSF play, upping its record to 5-0 with a 10-6 victory at No. 5 Hawai'i on Sunday. Kelly Eaton scored four goals and freshman Annika Dries scored three. The Cardinal has two more regular-season games remaining, both at home, April 17 against California and April 24 against USC. Eaton was named MPSF Player of the Week and Dries was named MPSF Newcomer of the Week.

Wrestling
Seven Cardinal wrestlers competed at the University Nationals in Akron, Ohio, last weekend, with freshman Ryan Mango placing seventh at 60 KG (132.25 lbs) to earn All-America honors. The St. Louis, Mo., native qualifies for the University World Team Trials, held May 24-29, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
