STANFORD, Calif.- No. 9 Stanford cruised past No. 40 Hawai'i 6-1 on Saturday afternoon at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium, improving to 4-0 on the season.
The singles matches were played first, with Stanford picking up wins at five positions. Leading 2-1, the Cardinal received easy victories from Alex Clayton (6-4, 6-4) and Bradley Klahn (6-4, 6-3) at the top of the lineup to clinch the match.
Hawai'i (5-2, 1-0 WAC) got on the scoreboard thanks to a 6-2, 6-2 triumph from Leo Rosenberg at the No. 4 spot.
Stanford then quickly captured the doubles point, surrendering only three games combined.
