LOS ANGELES (AP) - Nikola Vucevic tallied 20 points and nine rebounds, lifting USC to a 65-42 victory over Stanford on Thursday night at the Galen Center.

Alex Stepheson added 10 points and 11 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the year as USC (11-8, 3-3 Pac-10) made 7-14 three-pointers and shot 56 percent from the field.

Meanwhile, Stanford (10-7, 3-3 Pac-10) scored its fewest points since a 39-37 win over Washington State back on Feb. 25, 2006. The Cardinal also shot just 22.2 percent from the field, its worst showing since the shot clock was introduced during the 1985-86 season.

Anthony Brown netted nine points to lead Stanford, which scored only seven points in the first 13 minutes of the second half.

Jeremy Green finished with just five points, but his short jumper during the first minute of the second half put him over the 1,000-point mark for his career. Green now has 1,001 points in 83 career games.

However, the Cardinal was without a double-digit scorer for the first time since Dec. 16, 2006, when Mitch Johnson poured in a team-high nine points in a 62-46 loss against Santa Clara.

Stanford scored the first basket of the game when Josh Owens hit a turnaround jumper, but made just two of its first 14 shots to trail 16-5.

USC built a 20-point first-half lead and cruised to a 37-22 advantage at intermission.

The Trojans' biggest lead was 34 points, reaching 65-31 following a free throw from Garrett Jackson with 2:08 remaining in the contest.
