Stanford head coach Johnny Dawkins
Opening Statement:
"I don't think we played particularly well. We did not do a good enough job balancing our offense. We could not find Josh down low. And I thought Oregon played well. I thought they mixed their defenses well, the press combined with the zone they fell back to. It was good, it was active."
On the play of freshman Dwight Powell:
"Dwight made a lot of plays for us, against the press as well. He's continuing to work on getting better, he's getting stronger. I think many times with freshmen like Dwight, they defer. You don't hurt anyone's feelings when you demand the ball and you're open."
Freshman Dwight Powell:
On offensive struggles:
"We've got to do it on defense first. We score best when we're getting stops."
