Hey all you Card fans!
First of all, thank you for all the support this season! The team really appreciates it, and it's been awesome competing in my third season and seeing you guys again! For those that don't know me, my name is Jenna Becerra, but everyone calls me JB. I am a junior infielder.
Things have been going pretty well here at The Farm. Although it has cooled off the past couple of days, we have been enjoying some absolutely beautiful weather and can finally call it Spring! We couldn't appreciate it more.
The Cardinal has now finally begun an exciting part of the season - Pac-10 play! We are coming off of a tough weekend against Arizona here at home, but we're looking forward to bouncing back big time this weekend as we take on the Bruins at UCLA. The team has been working hard this week to fine tune some things, and we're pumped to get back on the field down south! As for myself and several other girls on the team from southern California, we are very excited to play down in L.A. and see a bunch of family and friends!
The trip down there should be memorable, as the team will bond on the seven hour bus ride by watching movies, doing homework together, talking, eating some snacks, and of course taking some much-appreciated naps. Perhaps, we'll even do our version of karaoke, which we call Spotlight. Of course, we'll definitely be extremely focused and ready to dominate. We've been doing the preparation; now it's time to get some W's!
