USRowing Collegiate Polls (April 13)
STANFORD, Calif. - No. 6 Stanford men's rowing will host some of the nation's top crews at the Stanford Invitational at Redwood Shores this weekend.
This year's event will feature the sixth-ranked Cardinal as well as No. 2 California, No. 7 Wisconsin and No. 17 Oregon State beginning Saturday morning.
"The traditional Stanford Invitational will give our men an opportunity to race national power Wisconsin and Pac-10 rival Oregon State this weekend at Redwood Shores," said Stanford men's head coach Craig Amerkhanian. "Since representing well in San Diego the team has continued to develop. Our goal this weekend is to continue to improve and see our base speed expand."
This weekend's event will give fans the opportunity to get a preview of the Big Row in two weeks as the Stanford and California boats will be in action.
