STANFORD, Calif. - No. 13 Stanford men's rowing will travel to Lake Natoma this weekend for Sunday's Pac-10 Championships.

All four Cardinal boats captured bronze medals at last year's event, and this time the Stanford oarsmen will look to challenge conference rivals California and Washington for top-two positions on the podium.

The men's slate begins with the Novice Eight at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Fours competition at 10:10 a.m.

The II Eights are set for a 10:50 a.m. takeoff, while the men's main event between the I Eight crews will get underway at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Last week the Cardinal I Eight and II Eight boats competed against Washington and (in the case of the II Eight) Oregon State at the Windermere Cup in Seattle. Two weeks ago the crews battled California at The Big Row, so the Cardinal crews are familiar with its opponents and the effort required to post top finishes this weekend at Lake Natoma.
