STANFORD, Calif.-- Austin Wilson drove in the go-ahead run as a part of a two-run eighth inning as No. 25-ranked Stanford (30-19, 12-12 Pac-10) won the series over No. 27-ranked Arizona (33-19, 12-12 Pac-10) following a 2-1 Sunday victory.

Chris Reed (6-2) retired the final five batters for his second win of the series, as Tyler Gaffney tied the game with a one-out RBI single and then following Stephen Piscotty's second hit, scored from second on Wilson's single through the left side against closer Matt Chaffee.

Stanford won the opener 1-0 in 11 innings, with Gaffney scoring the winning run on Friday. Bryce Bandilla (4-3) took the loss, stranding the tying and go-ahead run in the seventh, before walking Zach Jones to begin the eighth. After a bunt, Jones scored on Gaffney's hit and run, and Piscotty singled, leading to Chafee. Chafee got a fly out before surrendering a 2-1 pitch to Wilson.

Konner Wade kept Stanford off the scoreboard over the first 6.1 innings. In Wade's final inning, he put the first two runners on with base hits-- including Gaffney's 14th-straight game with a base hit, before Bandilla got the next three outs to keep it at 1-0.

Wade went the first 6.1 innings, scattering seven hits with two strikeouts.

Jordan Pries left after seven innings, giving up a single run on seven hits with six strikeouts. His lone mistake was a Jett Bandy solo shot in the second to give Arizona a 1-0 lead.
