Major League Draft / Summer Ball: Drafted in the first round and was the 36th overall selection, going to the Cardinals in 2012... drafted in the 45th round out of high school by the Los Angeles Dodgers ... led the Cape Cod League in batting during the summer of 2011, at .349 over 29 games with 20 runs and 21 RBIs... had eight doubles and three homers, making only two errors at third base for Yarmouth-Dennis.... rated the No. 12 prospect in the Cape by Baseball America and the No. 7 prospect by perfectgame.org in 2011.... rated the No. 3 prospect by Baseball America in the Alaska Summer League in 2010 after batting .289 with 18 runs and 24 RBIs over 37 starts ... stole 14 of 17 bases as well and made just one error in 83 chances ... also made three relief appearances, not allowing a run over 3.2 innings ... named "top prospect" by the league and earned the "Silver Slugger Award" while also earning first team all star honors.

Stanford Career: Three-year starter and two-time first team All-Pac-12 selection... three-time All-Regional Tournament... started all 172 games in his career... hit .340 over those games with 124 career runs and 132 career RBIs... had a .464 slugging percentage thanks to 43 doubles, four triples and 12 homers... also walked 62 times... started games at first, left, pitcher, designated hitter and third base.

As a junior in 2012: Third team All-American at utility by Baseball America... First team All-Pac-12... all-regional tourney...finished the regular season third in the Pac-12 in RBIs and ninth in hits... 32 starts at third, 22 at LF and 5 at DH (4 at p/dh) in 2012... Olerud Finalist for top two-way player... hit .329 on the season with 44 runs and a team-leading 56 RBIs. Also had 13 doubles, three triples and five home runs. Walked 30 times, which led the team as well... had a team-best 22 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games... on April 17 v. SJSU started in left field for first time since freshman year... finished career 4-for-5 at Florida State (6/10) in the Super Regional... reached base safely five times (three singles, two walks) in Saturday start v. WSU (5/12) and hit .500 against the Cougars for the weekend... four hits and career-best 4.2 innings and loss at Oregon State (5/6)... hit .500 in UCLA series win... 3-for-5 with a three-run triple and RBI single v. ASU (4/20) in series opener... picked up three hits, two RBIs and the loss in relief v. No. 10 Oregon (4/13)... had seven RBIs for second time this season, at Cal (4/9), with a three-run homer, two-run single, sac fly and RBI double... game-winning two-run homer at Pacific in the 11th (2/21)... went 8-for-16 against UC Davis and at Fresno State to begin March to raise is average over .300. Drove in three in 5-1 win over UC Davis (2/28). On Saturday went 4-for-5 with an RBI triple at FSU (3/4) and had two-hit game on Sunday (3/5)... had a two-run double and a two-run single in a 13-run fourth against Texas (2/26)... drove in seven with a grand slam and three-run double in series finale v. Vandy (2/19).

After not pitching until March 28, went 6-2 with a 3.05 ERA over 12 games and four starts... Pitched 41.1 innings striking out 20 and walking nine, giving up 46 hits... allowed 9 ER in last four weekend starts (26.0 IP), going 4-0... had a 3-0 record with a 2.28 ERA in three regular season starts with wins at Washington State (5/12), at Utah (5/20) and Cal (5/27).... In first career start (5/12) v. WSU, went a career-best 6.1 innings giving up three runs (one earned) on six hits with three strikeouts to win the series. Also had three singles and two walks... two wins in first week of April, coming on twice v. SMC (4/2), getting final two outs in 8th and then another 3.0 innings after team tied game with a five-run ninth. Overall went 3.2 innings, retiring seven in a row and giving up two hits with three strikeouts. Also had three hits in the game.... last start was to win the Stanford Regional, defeating Fresno State (6/3) with 6.1 innings, giving up four runs in the first and then another three in the seventh, in the middle, retiring 11 in a row.... first career save came against BYU (4/24) when he pitched 1.2 innings, giving up two runs over 1.2 innings in a 10-9 win, giving up single runs in the eighth and ninth innings.

As a Sophomore in 2011: First team All-Pac-10... Played every game with 57 starts at third, batting a team-best .364 with 35 runs and ranking second on the team with 40 RBIs... also had 13 doubles, one triple and three home runs... All-Fullerton Regional after 7-for-14 with six runs with only run of 1-0 win over top-seed and No. 8-ranked CS Fullerton with a solo home run and three hits in championship game over Illinois.. team-leader in average, taking over team lead in late April... team-best 27 multi-hit games... after making six errors over the first 13 games, made just two over a 17 game stretch into late April... three hits against Cal Poly (5/24)... drove in three with a two-run single and an RBI single against UC Davis (5/10) as part of 2-for-3 night... three singles and a walk in series clincher with Washington (5/7)... 3-for-5 with a two-run single at No. 7 ASU (4/29) followed by two more two-hit days in Tempe... three hit day against UCLA (4/21) including a solo home run off first pitch from reliever Brian Beacom as a part of a three-run seventh. Second of back-to-back homers with Gaffney and Piscotty... 3-for-4 with a two-run double and an RBI single v. Saint Mary's (3/29)... 2-for-3 with a two-run single in series clincher against LBSU (3/27)... two RBI doubles at No. 6 Texas (3/5)... opened sophomore season by hitting a team-best .545 at No. 17 Rice with three hits in Friday and Sunday wins.

As a Freshman in 2010: Joined Colin Walsh as one of only two players to play in all 56 games with 28 starts in left and 28 at first in 2010 ... Pac-10 honorable mention ... named All-NCAA Regional Tournament after four RBIs in the final game of the 2010 season ... one of three starting freshmen outfielders (Piscotty-Stewart-Gaffney) after coming in as a prep shortstop/third baseman and having never played either the outfield or first base ... hit .326 leading the team with 45 runs with Walsh, driving in 36 ... had a team-high 17 doubles and four home runs ... also struck out just 18 times over 252 plat appearances ... had 20 multi-hit games on the season and was second to Kenny Diekroeger with 10 multi-RBI games ... brought Stanford to within 6-5 in NCAA elimination game at CS Fullerton (6/5) with a three-run homer in the seventh, finishing with four RBIs ... had two hits in the NCAA Regional opener against New Mexico (6/4) ... went 5-for-5 with an RBI double and two RBI singles at No. 26 Arizona (5/22) ... fell a triple short of the cycle v. WSU (5/16), hitting a solo homer and a double going 3-for-4 ... three-run homer against San Jose State (5/4) ... hit first career homer at SCU (4/3), going 3-for-6 with four runs ... 10 game hit streak snapped on Sunday against USC (3/28) ... three hits in season opener against Rice (2/19) ... three hits with a double and RBI single going 3-for-4 with three runs in Saturday win over Pepperdine (3/20) ... two doubles in Sunday win over Pepperdine (3/21).

High School: Four-year letterman in baseball at Amador Valley High and also played one varsity season of basketball ... two year captain on the baseball team as a junior and senior ... three-time first team all-East Bay Athletic League pick in 2006, 2007 and 2009 ... named the league's MVP as a senior ... team reached the state playoffs in 2006 and 2009 ... also pitched for the team, tossing a complete-game shutout and while going 3-for-4 in leading the No. 8-seeded Dons to a 3-0 win over Foothill High ... played on the same side of the infield as fellow freshman, Kenny Diekroeger during an Area Code Game at Blair Field in Long Beach.

Personal Information: Son of Michael and Gretchen Piscotty ... has two younger siblings, Nicolas and Austin ... began coming to Stanford baseball games as a kid with his uncle for his birthday ... majoring in engineering (atmosphere/ energy).
