ST. MARY'S CITY, Md.-- Stanford Sailing is in 12th place of 20 teams after the first of two days of sailing in its first coed regatta of the season.
Freshman Hans Henken and sophomore Tally Buckstaff are tied in seventh in the B Division with 86 points, placing in the top-10 in seven of the nine races.
Freshmen Kieran Chung-Wolf and Natalie Urban are 11th in the A Division with 95 points, scoring in the top-five in three-straight races, but also finishing 18th and 19th.
The coed regatta finishes off on Sunday.
