ANNAPOLIS, Md. / HANOVER, N.H. / BERKELEY, Calif.-- Stanford Sailing finished in third place at the Navy Coed Regatta, sixth at the Captain Hurst Intersectional and with its JV team, seventh at the Stoney Burke Intersectional to cap off a busy weekend for the Cardinal.
At Navy, Stanford remained in third place for the second day of sailing with Kevin Laube skippering siblings Jack and Kelly Ortel to 94 points and the second-best score in the B Division. Mateo Vargas, in one of two singlehanded divisions over the 18 races was second as well, finishing with 97 points. Freshman Kieran Chung-Wolf was third in the D division in the other singlehanded division amongst the 18 teams with 84 points as the four Cardinal divisions combined for 466 points.

Over at Darmouth's Captain Hurst Intersectional, Stanford remained in sixth place with 268 points with Oliver Toole and freshman Haley Kirk finishing with 137 points in the A Division.

On the San Francisco Bay on day two, Stanford skippers Michael Dahl and Kaitlyn Baab moved the Cardinal up one spot to seventh in a field of 24 teams finishing with a 180 combined points.
