Cardinal Battling for First at Navy Women's Regatta

ANNAPOLIS, Md.-- Stanford Sailing finished  five points out of first place after the second day of the Navy Fall Regatta was called off due to no wind, scoring 93 points behind leader, Yale's, 88 points.

The B Division squad of Eliza Richartz and Kaitlyn Baab has scored a top-three finish in six of the seven races among the 17 competitors, winning the first and last race of the day. Their 17 points is second to Yale's team.

The A Division team of Sally Mace and Helena Scutt has tallied 40 points, fifth in the division, picking up three-straight wins, but also finishing off the Saturday races with back-to-back 12th place finishes.

Molly McKinney is also fifth in the singlehanded division, securing 36 points, scoring top-five finishes in four of six races. The regatta closes out on Sunday.
