PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif.- Mallory Burdette came away with a pair of titles on Sunday afternoon at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships, claiming a singles and doubles crown.
Burdette cruised past Florida's Joanna Mather 6-1, 6-2 in the main draw consolation singles match. After suffering a first-round loss in the main draw, Burdette ripped through the consolation bracket with four victories, three of which came in straight sets.
Burdette later collected her second championship of the day, pairing with Nicole Gibbs to defeat Florida's Allie Will and Sofie Oyen 6-2, 7-6 (2) to win the main draw doubles crown. Playing together for the first time, Burdette and Gibbs won all five of their matches to claim the title.
