TUCSON, Ariz.- No. 12 Stanford won its third straight match on Sunday afternoon, defeating No. 56 Arizona 5-2 on the road.
Stanford (11-5, 2-1 Pac-10) notched its second league victory while Arizona (8-11, 0-4 Pac-10) remains winless in conference play.
The Cardinal won the doubles point, taking victories on courts one and two.
Leading 3-0, Ryan Thacher's 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 win at the No. 2 spot secured the match.
Stanford is back in action on Wednesday, April 6, against San Diego at 1:30 p.m.
