SEATTLE (AP) - Tony Wroten scored 21 points and Terrence Ross added 18 as Washington overwhelmed Stanford in the second half, pulling away for a 76-63 win on Saturday.
Washington coach Lorenzo Romar earned his 300th career victory and 100th conference win at Washington.
The Huskies (12-7, 5-2 Pac-12), who bounced back from Thursday's three-point home loss to California, remained one of four teams with two conference losses. The Golden Bears lost to Washington State on Saturday, helping the other conference contenders.
Washington ran away midway through the second half on the strength of a 20-3 run that included 13 straight points. Stanford never figured out how to stop Wroten from going to his strong hand, and the freshman exploited the Cardinal defense. He made five straight shots in the second half.
Josh Owens led Stanford (15-5, 5-3) with 14 points.

"I felt good. You know, we were down seven and we didn't have our best half of basketball. We felt good from the standpoint that we could regroup, get back out and start to work toward what we wanted to do."
On being outrebounded for only the third time this year
"They did a great job of boxing out. They were very alert on the offensive rebounds and defensively I think they did a great job of crashing the boards themselves. They are a terrific rebounding team and when they put their minds to it, they can rebound with anybody and that showed again tonight. They rebounded well."

"For us, something that we can really hold onto after this game is how hard we played. I thought we played very physical. I thought we were alert. I'm just proud of our guys' focus and approach. It's unfortunate we lost a close one to Cal, but without C.J. (Wilcox) to come out here and get through tonight, I couldn't be more proud of our players."
On the overall progress this team has made this season...
"I think earlier in the year I said that we may have some ups and downs early because of the makeup of this team. I thought we'd be a much better team later than we would early. We've been a work in progress all season and I think inch by inch we've been getting a little better. We're starting to see some things that look more like what we've been talking about in terms of the big picture of our team. We're still not there. If 10 is our best and one is our worst, we're at about a five or a six here."
