No. 9 Men's Tennis Turns Away Hawai'i, 6-1

STANFORD, Calif.- Following a pair of losses to top-10 opponents over the weekend, No. 9 Stanford rebounded on Tuesday afternoon with a 6-1 victory over Hawai'i at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

The Cardinal improved to 5-2 while the Rainbow Warriors are now 1-4.

Stanford won all three doubles matches comfortably, taking a 1-0 lead in the match.

Freshmen Robert Stineman and John Morrissey coasted to easy straight-set victories on courts four and three, respectively, to put Stanford in front 3-0.

Jamin Ball's 6-2, 6-0 triumph at the No. 5 spot secured the match.

Stanford is back in action on Friday, Feb. 10, against No. 52 BYU at 1:30 p.m.
