STANFORD, Calif.-- Brett Mooneyham (5-3) lost his third-straight start as No. 10-ranked Oregon (24-9, 10-4 Pac-12) took the series, following a 5-0 win at No. 5-ranked Stanford (21-9, 4-7 Pac-12) on Saturday afternoon.

Jake Reed (4-2) went the first 7.0 scoreless innings, allowing two hits for the win. He walked one and hit Alex Blandino twice. Jeff Gold finished off the game with 2.0 scoreless innings the Ducks three-hit the Cardinal.

Mooneyham last just 4.0 innings, giving up the first five runs (four earned) on four hits. He struck out eight, including five of six outs in the first two innings, but also walked four.

A bases loaded walk followed by a passed ball gave Oregon a 2-0 lead in the third. With two outs, Mooneyham walked another in the fourth, as a bunt single followed by a three-run homer by Ryon Healy made it 5-0.

Sahil Bloom in relief, retired the first 11 batters he faced, pitching into the ninth. He gave up three hits in 4.2 scoreless innings.

NOTES: Oregon made two nice defensive grabs on the infield on high choppers, one by third baseman Kevin Shepard and another by second baseman Aaron Payne... Sunday's game is at noon, continuing the home stand through next week with San Jose State on Tuesday and Arizona State next weekend.
