PULLMAN, Wash. -- - Stanford shot a final round 292 to finish seventh at the Pac-12 Championships which were contested at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Wash.
The Cardinal finishes at 900 (+36) for the tournament, 19 strokes behind California, which claimed the team title with a one-stroke victory over USC (882) and three shots over Arizona (884). UCLA finished fourth at 885 followed closely by Arizona State (887) and Colorado (888).
USC's Doris Chen, who started the final round in 13th place, closed with a four-under 68 to finish at 217 (+1) for the tournament, claiming medalist honors with a one stroke victory over Tiffany Lau of UCLA.
Stanford's Mariko Tumangan and Sally Watson tied for 12th place at 222 (+6).
After opening with an 83 in cold and blustery conditions on Friday, Watson played the final 36 holes five-under par, including a final round of 70 on Sunday.
Sydney Burlison tied for 41st at 231 (+15) after posting a final round 78 in a round that included six bogeys and no birdies.
Kristina Wong tied for 44th at 232 after a final round 79, while Marissa Mar's final round 72 left her tied for 48th at 233.
Stanford will next be in action in the NCAA Regionals on a date and site to be determined.
