No. 11 Men's Tennis Blanks No. 62 Oregon, 7-0

STANFORD- No. 11 Stanford remained unbeaten in conference play, blanking No. 62 Oregon 7-0 on Friday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

Winners of three straight matches, the Cardinal (13-5, 3-0 Pac-12) collected its first shutout victory of the year.

Oregon (15-4, 0-3 Pac-12) has dropped all of its conference matches by 7-0 margins.

Stanford claimed the doubles point for a 1-0 lead, winning on courts one and three before Oregon's No. 2 duo squeaked out a victory to avoid the sweep.

Appearing in his second straight dual match and sixth overall this year, Daniel Ho booked a 6-2, 6-1 win on court six to put Stanford in front 2-0.

Ryan Thacher followed with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph at the No. 2 spot, giving the Cardinal a 3-0 advantage.

Bradley Klahn then provided the clincher with a 6-4, 6-2 win at the top spot of the lineup.

Meanwhile, Robert Stineman notched his team-leading 20th victory, John Morrissey won his 11th consecutive match dating back to Feb. 4 and Matt Kandath improved to 6-3 in three-set matches.

Stanford is back in action tomorrow on Senior Day, hosting No. 22 Washington at 1 p.m. The match represents the second half of a doubleheader with the women's team, which plays Santa Clara at 9:30 a.m.
