STANFORD, Calif. -- - Junior Sally Watson and freshman Mariko Tumangan both earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 Conference honors, as the conference released its all-conference selections today.
Watson leads the Cardinal in stroke average at 73.6 and has five top-10 finishes in her nine events on the year. She opened the season with a win at the WSU Cougar Cup in September and recently tied for 12th place at the Pac-12 Championships.
Tumangan has three top-10 finishes this season, highlighed by a eighth place finish at the WSU Cougar Cup, her first collegiate event. She also tied for 12th at the Wildcat Invitational, tied for 10th at the Peg Barnard Invitational and finished ninth at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate.
USC freshman and Pac-12 individual champion Doris Chen headlines the first team selections, along with teammate Lisa McCloskey and Erynne Lee, Lee Lopez and Tiffany Lua of UCLA. Manon Gidali (Arizona), Cassy Isagawa (Oregon) and Giulia Molinaro (Arizona State) also landed spots on the first team.
The second team is made of of Emily Childs (Cal), ani Gulugian (UCLA), Daniela Holmqvist (Cal), SooBin Kim (Washington), Joanne Lee (Cal), Sophia Popov (USC), Alex Stewart (Colorado) and Emily Talley (Colorado).
