STANFORD, Calif. - Eighth-ranked Stanford men's rowing heads to Lake Natoma for Sunday's Pac-12 Championships. The Cardinal will compete in all four boat classes Sunday, I and II Eights, Four and Frosh/Novice Eight.

Sunday's men's field consists of Stanford, No. 1 Washington, No. 4 California, No. 20 Oregon State, Colorado, UCLA, USC and Washington State.

Last year, the Cardinal claimed bronze medals in the I and II Eight finals, while the Frosh Eight took fourth. Despite not entering a boat in the Four class, Stanford netted 46 total points based on its three results, good for fourth amongst competing schools.

This Sunday, action will begin at 9:30 a.m. as the men's Frosh/Novice Eight opens up the competition. The Cardinal will row in lane four. At 10:10 a.m., the Fours will get underway, with Stanford in the sixth lane.

Stanford's II Eight will row from lane three in the four-boat race, set to get off at 10:50 a.m.

The main event, the I Eight Grand Final, will take place at 11:30 a.m., with the fourth-ranked Cardinal boat rowing in lane three.

Stanford won the I and II Eight races over Oregon State during its trip to the Pacific Northwest in April. Stanford's top boat finished fourth at the San Diego Crew Classic behind Harvard, California and Navy, and came within two-tenths of a second of upsetting current-No. 6 Wisconsin at the Pac-12 Challenge/Stanford Invitational.
