LONG BEACH, Calif. - Stanford won the women's singlehanded title Friday at the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference Championships hosted by USC at the U.S. Sailing Center. McKenzie Wilson maneuvered through the Long Beach Harbor to finish first overall as the Cardinal claimed the top three spots among the five-person field.
With six points, Wilson was followed in the standings by teammates Rebecca King (9) and Noelle Herring (17).
Wilson and King each earned an automatic bid to the national finals.
Hawaii's Madeline Kennedy (19) and Hanne Nagatani (24) were fourth and fifth, respectively.
