Rain Cancels Softball versus UC Davis

April 25, 2012

STANFORD, Calif. - Due to rain in the Bay Area, the Stanford-UC Davis softball game was called in the fourth inning and will not be resumed. Because the game did not meet the five-inning minimum requirement, it will not count towards either team's records. The Cardinal remains 32-16 overall, while the Aggies are 18-25.

UC Davis was leading 2-0 when the game was called. The Aggies jumped out to a quick 2-0 advantage when shortstop Kelly Harman hit a two-run homer in the top of the first inning.

The Cardinal will have the weekend off from games, returning to the field on Tuesday, May 1. Stanford will play host to the Santa Clara Broncos at 6 p.m.
