TEMPE, Ariz. - Stanford notched its third men's swimming and diving win in as many dual meets this season with a commanding 171.5-113.5 win at Arizona State Friday at the Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.

Stanford will head down the road from Tempe to face No. 1 Arizona at 11 p.m. (PT) on Saturday.

Kristian Ipsen and Arizona's Harrison Jones battled it out in both the 1- and 3-meter diving events.

Jones emerged victorious in each of the events, winning the 1-meter (413.78-408.98) while narrowly escaping with top honors off the high board (397.58-397.43).

The 400 medley relay quartet of Matthew Swanston, David Nolan, Aaron Wayne and Andrew Saeta went 3:15.35 for the meet-opening win. Stanford's B-relay was second in 3:19.19.

The Wildcats struck gold with Hayden Thomas' win in the 1,000 free with Thomas Stephens (9:27.65) claiming second for the Cardinal.

Drew Cosgarea (1:40.55) was first and Danny Thomson (1:42.07) tied for second in the 200 free.

Jack Lane (49.40), Matt Thompson (49.64) and Gray Umbach (49.97) staked the top three spots in the 100 back with Saeta (56.69) placing second one event later in the 100 breast. Saeta touched just ahead of Mason Shaw (56.99) for silver.

Tom Kremer (1:48.47) collected first-place points in the 200 fly.

Wayne owned the 50 free with a win in 20.40. Jake Hartley (21.04) were second and third, respectively.

Chris Pickard (45.92) won the 100 free and Cosgarea copped the 200 back win in 1:48.57. Umbach was second in the 200 back in 1:48.90.

Nolan steered the Cardinal to a win with a 2:01.28 in the 200 breast and Duggan got in the win column by going 4:31.08 in the 500 free.

Arizona won the 100 fly when Alex Coci posted a 49.60, a touch away from Swanston's 49.94.

Thompson needed only 3:56.86 to win the 400 individual medley, paving the way for the Cardinal's 200 free relay team to post an NCAA B-cut in 1:20.65.
