MALIBU, Calif.- No. 5 Stanford posted a 5-2 victory over No. 33 Pepperdine on Saturday afternoon to close out a two-match Southern California road swing.
Stanford (3-0), which also defeated San Diego 5-2 on Thursday, captured the doubles point with victories at the Nos. 2 and 3 spots.
In singles, the bottom of the lineup produced three quick victories to secure the match.
Wins by Ellen Tsay at No. 4, respectively, increased the Cardinal's lead to 3-0.
Natalie Dillon provided the clincher with a 6-4, 6-0 triumph on court six.
Pepperdine (0-3) later claimed its two points at the top of the lineup, with Stanford's Nicole Gibbs and Krista Hardebeck suffering rare losses.
Stanford is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 16, hosting Saint Mary's.
