COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Sloane Brazina posted a brilliant performance off the 1-meter springboard to finish seventh overall at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships Friday at Air Force's Cadet Natatorium.
Brazina grinded through the finals with 549.95 points, jumping four spots from her 267.25 in the prelims.
Brazina was joined in the finals by Lillian Hinrichs, who was 16th with 519.60 points.
USC's Haley Ishimatsu (612.25) won the event.
Stanford also received a 19th-place finish from Kelly Markle (258.20) to put three divers in the top 20.
Stephanie Phipps (254.30) was 22nd overall.
The Cardinal divers will compete in the platform to wrap up the meet on Saturday.
