THE BERNHARD FAMILY FOOTBALL LOCKER ROOM...
The Bernhard Family Football Locker Roomwas renamed in 2006. It has been home to the Stanford Cardinal since the Arrillaga Family Sports Center (AFSC) opened in 1994. Located on the main floor of the AFSC, the state-of-the-art locker room is equipped with individual footlockers, open seating areas, a sound system and flat screen televisions for the players. The original lockers reused from the 1984 Super Bowl were replaced in 2001 by solid oak lockers. The locker room is where the team suits up and prepares for practices and game days. Prior to each home football game, the team exits the locker room and sets out to Sam McDonald Mall for the traditional "Walk" to Stanford Stadium.
