As a junior in 1998: Set a single-season school record with 15 shutouts, breaking his own record of 12 set in 1997... Had a season-high eight saves in the 3-0 NCAA Quarterfinal victory at Virginia... Selected to the All-Tournament team at the Cal-Adidas Legacy Classic... Named Best Defensive Player at the Stanford/Nike Tournament.
As a redshirt freshman in 1997: Named to the Soccer America All-Freshman team - the first ever Cardinal honored as such... An NSCAA Far West Region Second Team All-America and MPSF Mountain Division All-Federation Team selection... Played every minute of the season (1,896), recording 56 saves and a 0.66 goals-against average - the second-best mark in school history... Finished the year ranked sixth in the nation (second among freshmen) and second in the MPSF in goals-against average... Held the top spot in the nation in GAA for four weeks... Allowed just 14 goals and posted a school record-tying 12 shutouts... Registered a school record seven consecutive shutouts from Sept. 19 to Oct. 12, a stretch that included victories over then-No. 16 Wisconsin and then-No. 8 Washington... Also established a school record for consecutive shutout minutes (763 from Sept. 15 to Oct. 19)... Posted two shutouts and nine saves against Wisconsin and UC Irvine in helping lead the Cardinal to the Saint Mary's "Fall Soccer Classic" title...
