Came back from a shoulder injury last year and improved throughout the season ... Has become primarily a breaststroker after her former primary events were the 200 yard back and 200 yard IM.
As a Sophomore in 2000-01: Recorded a career-best 1:03.67 in the 100 yard breast at the Pac-10 Championships to finish 10th, just missing the cut for the NCAA Championships ... Also was 14th in the 200 yard breast (2:19.37) at the Pac-10 Championships ... The team's second-best performer in both the 100 (1:03.67) and 200 yard breast (2:19.37) ... Finished third in the 100 and 200 yard breast versus USC (1/27).
As a Freshman in 1999-2000: Finished 16th in the 200 yard back (2:03.90, 2:02.59 prelims) and 19th in the 100 yard back (57.15, 56.97 prelims) at the Pac-10 Championships ... Posted the team's fastest time of the year in the 200 yard breast versus California (2:18.89, 2/10).
National/International Competition: A three-time Junior National champion in 1997 with victories in the 400 meter IM (4:54.34), 200 meter IM (2:20.25) and 200 meter free (1:49.07)... Set the Junior West national record in the 400 meter IM.
High School: A 1999 graduate of Reno High School ... Won the Nevada State Championship in the 100 yard breast as a senior ...
