Barry Ivers enters his first season as the volunteer assistant with the Stanford men's volleyball program. A local product, Ivers prepped at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, Calif. Ivers went on to attend Foothill College for two year, where he earned All-Conference honors as a wide receiver on the football team. He also attended Golden West College in Huntington Beach, Calif., where he played volleyball for one season. He is currently studying at San Jose State University.
Ivers has been coaching club volleyball for the past four years, spending one year with Surf City, one year with City Beach, and two years with the Bay to Bay Club.
