As a Sophomore in 2002-03: Competed at the Pac-10 Championships, finishing 23rd in the 400 yard IM (4:31.68, 4:29.48 prelims), as well as 28th in the 1650 (17:35.73) and 32nd in the 500 (5:02.56) yard free ... Posted a top regular season finish of fifth-place in the 200 yard fly versus Pacific (1/11) ... Honorable Mention Pac-10 All-Academic.
As a Freshman in 2001-02: Finished 27th at the Pac-10's in the 1650 (17:26.43) and 36th in the 500 (5:04.17) yard free ... Swam a season-best 1000 yard free of 10:20.55 versus Arizona (1/25) ... Had a pair of top five finishes in both the 500 and 1000 yard free events during the regular season ... International/ National Competition: A U.S. Open and U.S. Junior National qualifier ... High School: A 2001 graduate of Highland Park High School ... Spent her two first prep seasons at Pine View School in Florida before moving to Texas in the middle of her junior year ... Coaching Staff on Henderson: "The expectation of Claire's training group in the distance freestyle should help her improve dramatically this year. She is one of the hardest workers on our team.
