2001: As a reserve, came off the bench in four matches for Stanford ... Made his Cardinal debut in Stanford's 1-0 win against Loyola Marymount, recording his only shot of the year... Appeared in Stanford's second round NCAA Tournament victory against Santa Clara... Also saw action against Oregon State on Nov. 18 and San Jose State on Oct. 4.

2000: Redshirted his first season.

High School: Attended Chaminade Prep, where he captained the 2000 squad to a district championship and a third-place finish in the state... Earned First Team All-State and First Team All-Metro accolades... Named Metro League Defensive Player of the Year... Awarded Athlete of the Class honors his senior year... Helped the team to a district championship and a second-place finish in the state his junior year... Also played golf, and was named All-State his freshman and sophomore year... Led the golf team to state championships in 1997 and '98... Team finished as district champions and the state runners-up in 2000... Member of the National Honor Society...
