As a sophomore in 1998: One of six players to appear in all 25 matches... Started in 22 as a forward... Tied for sixth on the team with three goals and eight points... Had his best statistical game of the year in the season opener at Saint Mary's, scoring one goal with one assist.
As a freshman in 1997: Was a major contributor to Stanford's success as a true freshman... The only freshman and one of only six players to play in all 20 games... Ranked second on the squad in goals (5) and points (15), and tied for first in assists with five... His five assists placed him in a tie with teammate Simon Elliott for fourth in the MPSF Mountain Division... His 15 points also ranked seventh in the division... Assisted on the game-winning goal against San Jose State in his first collegiate game.
High School: Came to The Farm from Pioneer High School, where he was Michigan's 1996 "Mr. Soccer"... Garnered NSCAA Umbro All-America and Gatorade Regional Player of the Year honors in 1996... Made USA Today's Top 25 recruit list and was named one of the top two recruits in Region II by Soccer America... The two-time First Team All-State performer was also a 1996 State and Region II ODP Player... Seven-year member of Vardar III, one of the top club programs in the Midwest... Member of the National Honor Society... Graduated seventh in his class with a 3.95 GPA.
