Jared began sailing at 17 on a friend's recommendation. Sun joined the Stanford team his freshman year and filled in as crew on an FJ for the JV team. Last year Sun skippered a JV boat, and this year he will skipper and crew this year for the varsity coed team. The human biology major is also EMT certified.
