High School: A 2006 graduate of Singapore American School in Singapore ... played volleyball from 2002-06 ... named to the 2005 IASAS All-Tournament Team ... helped lead team to three IASAS titles from 2002-04 and to a runner-up finish in 2005 ... also participated in track and field ... events included triple, long and high jumps, shotput, discuss and javelin ... team won three straight IASAS titles (2004-06) ... class salutatorian and an AP Scholar with Distinction ... member of the Gold Honor Roll from 2002-06 ... earned AP Biology, AP Calculus I AB, and AP English Language Awards ... IASAS Scholar from 2005-06 ... named Humanities Award winner and PTA Senior Scholar.

I was introduced to rowing by | a friend from high school who was visiting while I was still in high school and said I should give it a try. A bunch of other people in college then told me their experiences and three years after that I ended up walking on. |
The Stanford Rowing team will be fun to watch this year because | we have a great team of talented athletes across the board-it's not just the first boat that is competing well; the skills of the team are very deep |
