Fashioned one of the best seasons by a setter in Stanford history ... Led the nation and set a school record with an average of 20.07 assists per game ... Finished with 1,646 assists, the second-highest single-season total in the Cardinal record books ... Reached the 100-assist plateau on three different occasions ... As a Freshman in 1998:
Appeared in 21 matches, handing out 1,265 assists ... Also contributed 52 block assists ... Posted 104 assists against Loyola Marymount on Feb. 21 and hit the 100-assist mark in a win at Pacific (Jan. 31) ... Recorded at least 75 assists seven times on the season ... Prepped at Mt. Carmel High School in San Diego, Calif. ... In 1997, led the Sundevils to their second consecutive Palomar League title and CIF Division I Championship match ... Along the way, became one the of the most highly decorated athletes in school history, taking home CIF and Palomar League Player of the Year honors ... Named the 1997 San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team Captain (Spring Sports) and Mt. Carmel's Spring Athlete of the Year ...
