Cardinal Career: Has contributed 15 points (four goals, seven assists) in 57 games and 39 starts. Three-time NFHCA All-Academic.

As a Senior in 2003: Has contributed five points on one goal and three assists (tied for second on the team) ... Had two assists at Old Dominion (9/7), one game after feeding Noor Dawood for the game-winning goal with 0:01 second remaining in a 3-2 win at Virginia Commonwealth (9/5) ... Has started all 16 games.

As a Junior in 2002: Ranked sixth on the team in scoring with seven points, contributing a pair of goals and three assists. Had a team single-game season-high and career individual-high three assists at Saint Louis (10/4).

As a Sophomore in 2001: Played in eight games with one start. Named NFHCA All-Academic.

As a Freshman in 2000: Scored three points (one goal, one assist) in 12 games and one start. First collegiate goal came in a 7-0 win over Saint Louis (11/2). NFHCA All-Academic.

High School: 2000 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, Cleveland Heights, OH. Team MVP and co-captain. First Team All-League selection. Honored as an All-Ohio All-Star. Also a standout in lacrosse and played on a team that finished third in the state in her junior season. Graduated in the Top 10 of her class and was the top female senior in Ohio on the American High School Math Exam.

Personal: Mathematics major. Born February 20, 1982. Daughter of Mark Wessels and Nancy Machmer. Father played soccer for Case Western. Worked last summer as a mathematician for the U.S. Department of Defense. Among her interests are American Sign Language.
