All-American: 800 free relay - 2008
International Competition: Competed for his native Brazil at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing where he swam on the 800 free relay.
2007-08 Season (Junior): A member of the 800 free relay that finished fifth at the NCAA Championships...also competed in the prelims of the 200 and 500 free at the NCAA Championships...member of the runner-up 800 free relay at the Pac-10 Championships...finished seventh in the 500 free, seventh in the 200 fly and eighth in the 200 free at the Pac-10 championships to help Stanford to the team title...
2006-07 Season (Sophomore): Recorded 11th place in the 500 free, 12th in the 200 fly, and 13th in the 200 free at the Pac-10 Championships...was also a part of the second-place 800 free relay team at the conference meet.
2005-06 Season (Freshman): A participant in the 200 free and the 200 fly at the Pac-10 Championships...also swam the 500 free during the season.2004-05 Season: Redshirted.
High School: A 2004 graduate of Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, La....four-year letterwinner...three-time All-American in the 100, 200 and 500 free...all-city and all-state selection...holds high school records in the 100 free (45.42), 200 free (1:39.06) and 500 free (4:29.09)...swam for Crawfish Aquatics.
