General: Has put his focus on baseball after a prep career in which he played both football and baseball Forced to stop playing football due to a concussion condition An elite athlete that was recruited by many top colleges in football Has raw talent with excellent size and speed Has good power offensively Still pretty new to a high level of baseball and is expected to be brought along slowly Should improve as he continues to get additional baseball experience and could potentially be an excellent player for the Cardinal.

High School: A 2006 graduate of Lakeridge High School Twice selected to the All-Three Rivers League squad (2005, '06) Batted .358 with 22 runs scored and was a perfect 10-for-10 in stolen bases as a senior in 2006 Also lettered three times in football, playing tight end and defensive end Was named team captain and earned All-Three Rivers League honors as a senior in football, while helping his squad win the conference title in 2003 Earned Merit Awards in Math, Science and Core Curriculum, and was named Student of the Quarter in 20 different classes Coached in baseball by Royce McDaniel, Jason Phillips and Allan Coyle.

Other Amateur Baseball: Played three summers for the Lakeridge Titans AAA Legion team (2004-06) Coached by Allan Coyle.
