Stanford: From walkon to team captain ... "Graylor" is a great leader and has quickly developed into one of the top central defenders in the country ... As good as any player in the country in the air ... Taylor has worked exceptionally hard to make his foot skills the equivalent of his heading ability ... Will be counted upon to lead a revamped defensive group in 2002.
2001: A 2001 Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 selection... First Team All-Academic Pac-10 honoree... Started all 22 games... Tallied one goal, four assists and nine shots (five on goal) for a total of six points- all either tie or set career highs... Helped anchor a backline that held opponents to just 13 goals on the season, an overall 0.56 goals against average and 12 shutouts...Scored his only goal of the season in a 4-0 home shutout against Oregon State.
2000: Came of age in his sophomore campaign, appearing in 18 matches with four starts ... Three of those starts came in Pac-10 play ... Uses his size and strength well on the defensive end ... Tallied his first career points with a goal and an assist ... Scored his first collegiate goal in a 4-0 win over Cincinnati in the Stanford/Nike Invitational.
1999: Saw action in two games... Took the field in the 3-2 win over Cal Poly and the 4-0 victory over Dartmouth in the Stanford/Nike Tournament.
1998: Redshirted his freshman year.
High School: 1998 graduate of Rio Americano High School... Named First Team All-League in 1997 and '98... Led his prep squad to the 1996 Sac-Joaquin Section championship... Played with former Stanford teammates Travis James and Lee Morrison on the San Juan Club Team that advanced to the State Finals in 1998.
Personal:Son of Randy and Gail Graham... His brother, Curtis, graduated from Stanford in 2001 and played on the Stanford men's volleyball team... Speaks fluent Spanish and French... Enjoys watching movies, playing ping pong, swimming and traveling... Has previously traveled to Bolivia, Switzerland, Italy and France... Recent summer jobs include working at the Stanford soccer camps and as an assistant at the Stanford Business School ... Graduated from Stanford in 2002 in International Relations with a minor in Spanish ... He is now in a masters program in Sociology.
