At Stanford: After two years as a backup quarterback, Todd Husak made the most of his starting assignment in 1998 as he put himself atop the Cardinal single season record book ... Not only did he become only the third QB in school history to pass for over 3,000 yards in a season (he threw for 3,092), but he moved into ninth place on Stanford's all-time passing chart with 3,876 career passing yards ... He is also 10th on Stanford's career total offense list with 3,737 yards ... Has completed 289-of-564 passes in his career with 23 touchdowns and 13 interceptions ... Possesses natural leadership abilities ... Has great poise and maturity.

The 1998 Season: In his first season as Stanford's starting quarterback, Todd threw for over 3,000 yards and put himself in an elite group of Cardinal quarterbacks ... By passing for 3,092 yards, Husak became the third QB in school history to throw for over 3,000 yards in a season ... The other two are Steve Stenstrom (3,627 in 1993) and John Elway (3,242 in 1982) ... Husak broke Stanford's single game passing record when he threw for 450 yards against Oregon State (26-for-48, 2 TDs), breaking Steve Dils' 1978 record of 430 ... Husak's 419 yards passing (25-for-45, TD) vs. UCLA was the third best single game effort in Stanford history ... Received his most extensive playing time in back-to-back games vs. USC and Washington State ... He replaced Hutchinson for the second half of the USC game, completing 18-of-36 for 266 yards, no interceptions and two touchdowns ... The following week, Hutchinson injured his finger on the game's first play from scrimmage and Husak played the rest of the way ... He completed 12-of-27 for 155 yards and two touchdowns, but he also threw four interceptions ... Was impressive in a brief stint against UCLA when he completed three-of-five for 90 yards and led Stanford on its only scoring drive of the game ... The 85-yard drive was culminated by a 35-yard TD pass to Jimmie Johnson ... Husak was also the team's holder on field goals.

The 1996 Season: Played in four games as a backup to starting QB Chad Hutchinson, completing 19-of-39 passes for 202 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions ... His first game experience came in game #2 vs. San Jose State ... He completed two-of-four for 29 yards in game #4 at Washington ... His most extensive playing time occurred in game #7 when Hutchinson was knocked out of the game vs. Arizona State ... Husak drove Stanford into scoring position to the ASU 32-yard line in his first series ...
