2010 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 12 of 13 games on special teams and as a backup in the Cardinal secondary...finished the year with six solo tackles...had one tackle in games against UCLA, Washington, Arizona, Arizona State and two against Oregon State...credited with pass breakups against Sacramento State and California.
2009 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Played in eight games and made one start (Arizona State) to earn his first varsity letter...also was a valuable contributor on Stanford's special teams...was credited with seven total tackles, including five solo stops...had two solo tackles in the home win over San Jose State on Sept. 19...had two total tackles at Oregon State on Oct. 10...credited with two solo stops at Arizona on Oct. 17...made his first career start against Arizona State on Oct. 24 and had one assisted tackle.
2008 (FRESHMAN): Did not see action.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Basha High School in Chandler, Ariz....also attended Hamilton High School for three years (2004-06) before transferring to Basha...started at defensive back at Hamilton as a junior...ranked as the No. 49 cornerback nationally and the No. 17 recruit from Arizona by Scout.com...a two-way player who made 56 tackles, picked off a ball and had nine passes defended on defense...also rushed for 916 yards and nine touchdowns on 105 carries for an 8.7 average per rush on offense as a senior in 2007 when he was a first team all-state Class 5A selection by the Arizona Republic as a running back and a second team selection as a defensive back...led his team with 1,369 all-purpose yards as he added 386 on just 15 kickoff returns for a 25.7 average and 67 on four receptions...team advanced to the second round of the state playoffs in 2007...earned all-area honors as a junior in 2006 when he recorded 64 tackles, nine pass deflections, three sacks and one interception...helped Hamilton to a 5A Division I Arizona state championship as a junior in 2006 and a runner-up finish in 2005...majoring in sociology.
