A two-time national doubles champion, Laurence Dee was one of Stanford’s best tennis players in the 1940s. He took the doubles crown in 1940 with James Wade before repeating alongside Frederick Schroeder two years later. Dee also served as co-captain in 1942, accompanied by former doubles partner Wade.
