Larry Reynolds, the school's all-time base stealer, was the 1977 Pac-10 Southern Division co-Player of the Year, hitting .361 with 38 bases and 52 RBIs. He earned All-America honors in 1978 by the Sporting News with a .332 average with 32 RBIs and 24 stolen bases in 1978. He stole a record 131 bases in his career, including 38 in both 1967 and 1977. He also was the third player to have 300 hits in a career, batting .325 with 135 career runs. | |||||||||||
