Once again, the Stanford Athletic Department has teamed with Justarrive, Inc. to provide students with an innovative and unique entrance system for the 2000-2001 Stanford Men's Basketball season. The Justarrive system allows students to purchase their game tickets and 6th-Man Club membership online, use their Stanford University ID cards instead of paper tickets, and pay only for the games they attend.

How Registration and Purchasing will work:

Student basketball fans have come to the right place. Student Men's Basketball season tickets and 6th-Man Club memberships will be available right here for purchase starting Saturday October 14th at midnight and will end Wednesday October 25th at midnight. The first 6th-Man event will be held at Maples Pavilion on Saturday October 28th (tentatively scheduled for 10am-noon). This event will be the first fan loyalty event of the year, and all attending students will receive 10 points. The event will include a Men's Basketball scrimmage, a barbeque and most importantly, the 6th-Man tee shirt distribution.

What has changed since last year?

Students will now use their Stanford University ID cards as their season ticket and means of entrance to all Men's Basketball home games. Students will simply swipe their SUID card at the designated student entrance for verification.GoStanford.com is now the starting point for students to access their account and review their points, report lost or stolen cards and read articles about the team. The price of game tickets will once again incorporate an attendance-based pay structure. The one difference is that students will pre-pay a $25 ticket deposit at the beginning of the season and then be refunded a portion of that price after the season based on the number of games they attended. $25 is the most a student would pay for attending all the games.

You have the option to purchase a ticket to the highly anticipated #9 Stanford v. #2 Duke game, a rematch of the Cardinal's thrilling 80-79 OT victory last season, at the Oakland Coliseum, Dec. 21, 2000 at 6pm. Each student may purchase a ticket, which includes the 8pm Cal v. Georgia game, for the discounted student price of $20. Tickets will be distributed at the Stanford Will Call at the Oakland Coliseum on game-day only, and they must be in the student's name.

Facts for first time user:

All students are eligible to join the 6th-Man Club and/or , including graduate students, those studying overseas, and student spouses and partners.Rather than a paper ticket, students use their SUID to enter all home games. For most games, attendance is determined on a first-come first-serve basis for all season ticket holders. For each game a student attends, he/she will receive 10 loyalty points. For the three priority games (Arizona, Cal, and UCLA), about two-thirds of the seats are guaranteed to students who have attended the most games during the season (and thus have the most points), while the remaining one-third are distributed on a first-come first-serve-basis.Guarantees are based upon loyalty points, thus rewarding the most loyal and die hard students for their overall season attendance.

Since not all games are guaranteed for students, the pay-as-you-go season ticket price insures that students only pay for the number of games they attend.
