STANFORD, Calif.- Eight Stanford men's gymnasts garnered Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic honors, as announced by the conference Thursday.
Five Cardinal gymnasts earned their third MPSF All-Academic honor, including: Sean Senters earned his second award, while Michael Levy and Brian Knott claimed their first.
To be eligible for the MPSF All-Academic team, gymnasts must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, complete at least one full academic year at their university and have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's competitions.
Stanford led the conference with eight selections, followed by Oklahoma with five, California with two and Air Force with one.
Stanford finished third at the 2013 NCAA Championships on April 19-21, with six gymnasts claiming nine All-America honors.
