Brutus Hamilton Invitational
LA JOLLA, Calif. - Participating in two meets simultaneously at opposite ends of the state, Stanford fared well in invitational competitions at UC San Diego and California.
All told, Stanford had four additions to its all-time lists, three to its freshman lists, six personal records and three victories.
Cardinal throwers, sprinters and hurdlers competed at the Triton Invitational at UC San Diego, while several from an array of events competed at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational at Cal's Edwards Stadium in Berkeley.
Stanford's winners all came at the Triton Invitational: Kori Carter won the women's 100-meter hurdles (13.50), the women's 4x100 relay (45.74) won, and so did Brianna Bain in the women's javelin (157-4).
Additions or improvements to the all-time Top 10 lists were:
* Allysa Wisdom, who moved up to No. 3 in the women's shot put at 54-4 3/4 while finishing third at the Triton.
* Freshman Andrew Rondema, who moved to No. 6 in the men's javelin at 203-2.
* Freshman Kristyn Williams, who moved to No. 7 in the women's 400 (54.15) while finishing third in the women's 400.
* Freshman Charlie Kerr, who moved to No. 9 in the men's javelin (197-6).
