LA JOLLA, Calif. - Three Stanford players reached double-digit kills to help the Cardinal to a 25-20, 27-25, 26-24, men's volleyball victory over UC San Diego in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation action on Saturday.
Stanford (14-11 overall, 11-11 MPSF) got 12 kills from Steven Irvin, and 10 each from Brian Cook and Eric Mochalski on the way to its second victory in three matches, dropping UCSD to 7-20 and 4-18.
The seventh-place Cardinal heads into its final weekend of the regular season, when it plays Cal Baptist on Friday and BYU on Saturday at Maples Pavilion.
