At Stanford: A fifth-year senior, Emory has become a valuable member of the Cardinal football program after walking-on in 1996...Since then, has earned the reputation as one of the hardest workers on the team...A year ago, he was named First-Team All-Pac-10 as a special teams player and was also Stanford's #2 fullback...Has a knack for making big plays on special teams...He has blocked two kicks, scored a touchdown and recovered a fumble the past two seasons on special teams...Will be the team's backup fullback again in 2000 and one of the top special teams players in the conference.

The 1999 Season: Named First-Team All-Pac-10 as a special teams player in 1999...He was also Stanford's #2 fullback...He had 10 tackles, one blocked kick and one fumble recovery on special teams...He also had 13 yards rushing on three attempts to go along with two receptions for 30 yards...He had a 23-yard reception against Oregon State...Had three tackles on special teams at Arizona State...Against Washington State, he blocked a punt, then picked up the ball and raced 13 yards for a touchdown.

The 1998 Season: After receiving little playing time in 1996 and '97, Emory emerged in 1998 to become a key player for Stanford both as a fullback and on special teams...He played in all 11 games on special teams and finished the season starting four of the last five games at fullback...He carried the ball 10 times for 35 yards and caught six passes for 136 yards, including a 61-yarder vs. Cal in The Big Game...As a special teams player, he had six tackles and one blocked kick...All of his six receptions and nine of his 10 carries occurred in the final three games of the year when he started against USC, Washington State and Cal...In The Big Game, he had five carries for 21 yards and two receptions for 100 yards...He was named winner of the Phil Moffat Award as the team's top defensive special teams player...His blocked kick came at Oregon when he blocked a punt and recovered it on the Ducks' 10-yard line...Stanford scored a touchdown on the next play.
